Mid Level Front-End Developer

We’re looking for a front-end developer who can confidently build everything from responsive user interfaces to beautiful landing pages. You will work closely with the marketing and design teams to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.

The Role

We’re looking for a front-end developer who can confidently build everything from responsive user interfaces to beautiful landing pages. You will work closely with the marketing and design teams to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designers and copywriters to bring web pages and applications to life with new designs and features.
  • Develop user-facing features using React (Gatsby).
  • Write modular and reusable components for an array of devices and browsers.
  • Write tests for components using Jest and implement the principles of test-driven development for existing code.
  • Refactor an existing Gatsby codebase to be more performant, clean, and secure.

What We’re Looking For

  • An industry veteran with 4+ years of experience.
  • Experience developing modern, responsive, and compatible websites and applications.
  • Deep proficiency in JavaScript and current standards (ES6+).
  • Proficiency working with React (Gatsby is a bonus but not required).
  • Experience with Shopify is a bonus but not required.
  • Experience in test development with Jest or similar technologies.
  • An inspirational leader who is able to work independently and as a collaborator on a small, tight-knit team.

  • Salary ranges from $80,000 - $120,000 based on experience.
