Kenneth & Michelle
A fall wedding in Baltimore, MD.
About the Wedding
Tell us your engagement story.
For Thanksgiving 2019, we traveled to my (Kenneth's) home town of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for the first time in our three years of dating to visit my family. On Thanksgiving morning, I had my brother (a photographer) take photos of us at different landmarks around the city. I told my then Fiancé Michelle that we would frame these photos to hang in our newly purchased home. On our last stop, we took photos on a beautiful bridge where I got down on one knee to ask Michelle to spend the rest of our days together. Thanksgiving day, also happened to be Michelle’s parents 33rd wedding anniversary – so her first thought was to call her parents – who live in Pennsylvania – to share the good news! I asked her to wait to call family until we arrived at my grandmother’s house – and when we did, not only was there a surprise engagement party, but her parents had flown to Milwaukee to make the experience even sweeter.
I received compliments ranging from my tailor, to my family, and friends. My entire groomsman party was impressed with the quality and I know they felt great being able to own their tux.
