Julia & Isaiah
A fall wedding in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey.
About the Wedding
It isn’t easy to make a colorful wedding that’s also classic and timeless. Julia and Isaiah’s wedding pulled it off and made it look easy. Their celebration was a picture-perfect blend of romance and joyful personality. From the moment guests arrived at the sun-drenched vineyard, it was clear that every detail had been lovingly curated to reflect the couple’s story and create a fun, bright mood.
The Wedding Outfits
Isaiah was every bit the classic groom in a sleek black tuxedo with a notch lapel and matching tux vest, accented by cool, simple cufflinks and patent leather dress shoes. His look showed off a traditional, formal feel. To help make Isaiah’s groom style even more special, he subtly stood out from his groomsmen, who wore coordinating tuxedos paired with suspenders instead of vests. With his layered look next to the more clean and simple groomsmen tuxedo outfits, Isaiah’s look was unique and head-turning.
Julia looked every bit the modern princess as she walked down the aisle in a dreamy gown. A delicate lace corset bodice and a voluminous tulle skirt made for a soft and dramatic statement. In keeping with Isaiah’s look, this bridal style was perfectly suited to the romantic vibe. Pearl embellishments brought an ethereal feel, too. Later in the evening, she changed into a sparkly mini dress for her second look ready. In an art-deco inspired corset bridal mini dress with matching strappy silver heels as her second look, Julia was ready to dance the night away.
Coordinating with the groomsmen, the bridesmaid dresses set the tone for the wedding color palette and overall theme in bold pastel silks. For a colorful mix and match bridesmaid style, each wore a different shade, creating a soft watercolor effect that complemented the vineyard’s aesthetic. Their bouquets matched the bridesmaids’ individual dress colors, putting a thoughtful finishing touch on the bridal party style that tied the entire floral palette together.
The Theme
Flowers were the unifying theme of the wedding day, from the pink hanging floral arrangements above the altar for the ceremony to the hand-painted floral designs on a decorative mirror welcoming guests to the reception.
Guests were treated to a set of experiential, beautiful details through the wedding reception. A pink champagne tower sparkled as the couple made their toast, while a mini print vending machine provided both a fun, gamified activity (what will each person get?!) as well as instant keepsakes. It proved a unique and interactive touch that everyone adored, and with customized art prints that related to Julia and Isaiah’s story, it was a perfectly personal element. The classic tiered wedding cake, adorned with soft pastel decorations and florals, served as a sweet centerpiece to the evening.
Every detail, from the floral artistry to the fashion choices, told their story. The wedding day played out their story in full bloom while keeping it feeling balanced and classic all the while.
Our wedding day was nothing short of a real-life fairytale. Every detail was uniquely us, from the whimsical florals and dreamy colors woven through the day to the sunset that decided to join the celebration in shades just as magical.
