Weddings for fall of 2022 are all about either keeping things neutral and monochromatic or going bold and stepping back in time. Depending on the vibe you’re setting for your event, we’ve got a few color palettes to inspire you and help you on our journey to choosing the perfect attire for your wedding party.
Black and Brown
Yes, these two colors DO go together and can create a simultaneously neutral and moody palette for your autumn wedding. Black suits or tuxedos pair beautifully with mocha colored bridesmaids dresses--or flip flop the looks and put your bridesmaids in black (a bridesmaid’s dream come true, right?) and let the groomsmen be the ones to wear brown or tan suits.
Is black a little too formal for your venue? Consider charcoal as a dark alternative that’s perfect for a rustic barn or industrial loft venue.
Charcoal and Silver
For a fashion-forward wedding, monochromatic looks are a statement of their own. Simple yet unexpected, monochrome wedding looks are easy to style. Pairing a light silver or dove gray with a deep graphite or charcoal adds depth to the looks while ensuring you get timeless wedding photos.
For other monochromatic options, consider pairing tan suits with champagne bridesmaids dresses--especially nice if you live in a warm weather climate or are planning a destination wedding. Pops of moss green or baby pink will really help bring the palette together.
Burgundy and Blush
Burgundy bridesmaids dresses are always a fall favorite, and we especially love seeing them at winery venues with a little cabernet on the side. A deep red pairs well with lighter colors like a soft blush or dusty blue, as well as rich jewel tones like deep purple and hunter green.
Terracotta and Rust
Keeping it earthy and in-tune with the falling autumn leaves, these two colors will really allow you to make a statement. Be sure to include lots of greenery along with touches of soft ivory to fully capture the fall charm.
Dark Green and Yellow
Dark green is undeniably one of our team favorite colors since it joined our collection. Paired with black accessories, it can be quite formal but still a step more low-key than a traditional tuxedo. Paired with brown accessories, it can lean more casual and looks classic next to a soft daffodil or bold marigold.
Teal and Pink
From mockneck turtlenecks to bucket hats and clogs, 90s fashion is making a big comeback, and that doesn’t stop when it comes to weddings. Whether these bold colors are in your bridal party attire, your place settings, or the neon signs on the dance floor, this is one theme that can really inject a lot of fun into your day.
