Spring 2024 Wedding Color Palette Trends

If you’re like us, you're counting down the days until it is officially spring. And at SuitShop, what we get most excited for when this change of season comes around is the boom of weddings and the beautiful photos that start filling up our feeds. If you’re still picking out last minute details for your spring 2024 wedding like groomsmen ties and wedding party gifts or if you’re taking inspiration from this year for your 2025 wedding plans, these color palettes are sure to inspire you. 

Light Blue & Yellow

Unique, bright, and happy wedding color palette

If you’re planning a garden party wedding, light and dusty blues and yellows are key colors to include in your attire and decor. And, we’re predicting yellow may be the most popular color in weddings this year. From a light champagne to a trendy butter yellow or a bold marigold, the color can be as subtle or as vibrant as you’d like it to be. Velvet antique blue ribbons around bouquets and boutonnieres and floral pattern ties with pale blue and yellow flowers are dream additions to this color palette. 

If you’re using light blue and yellow, walk on the wild(flower)side. Although, whatever colors you choose while spring 2024 wedding planning, look into wildflowers for your floral arrangements. In the past few years we’ve seen baby’s breath grow more and more popular. But this year, there is no limit to the amount of color we’ll see in wildflower arrangements–and blooming blues and yellows are perfect here.

Dark Green & Ivory

Sophisticated, cool, and earthy wedding color palette

Romantic and dreamy, sometimes a spring wedding just begs for a deep, rich color to anchor the aesthetic. With ivory as your main color for table linens, candles, flowers, and other elements of the decor, attire is a great place to add in that moody green color. We love dark green suits next to neutral ivory bridesmaids dresses or in reverse, dark green bridesmaids dresses next to tan suits and an ivory dinner jacket for the groom. 

Going completely neutral with attire is also trending for spring 2024 weddings. Tan suits, ivory bridesmaids dresses, ivory ties, and white bouquets are styles destined to stand the test of time while still looking strikingly modern. Dark green accents can pop up in cocktail napkins with gold monograms, emerald jewelry, and rented furniture. If the entire bridal party is dressed in a neutral color, red nail polish–or the red nail theory–would be the perfect trend to use to add the smallest hint of bold color. While some consider it a color to gain attention for finding love, The Knot believes that “at the heart of the Red Nail Theory is the idea that red is a color associated with love and passion.” Could the pop of red be the key for everlasting love? At the very least, it's certain to be stylish way to add a saturated shade to neutral wedding party attire.

Dusty Blue & Pink

Bold, rosy, and romantic wedding color palette

While blush has always been a top color choice for a spring wedding, it’s 2024–aren’t we all still living in a Barbie world? Pinks are taking over even more, as Barbiecore inspiration will continue to have a strong hold on the 2024 wedding scene as the year goes on. Cotton candy blues and pinks are always popular in the spring, so if hot pink is too bold of a fashion statement for you, consider bridal bright pink shoes, a photo booth backdrop of roses in shades from baby pink to magenta, or a neon pink sign hung near the reception dance floor. 

Tan & Orange

Rich, natural, and warm wedding color palette

Stealing inspiration from a beach sunset, tan and orange are a destination wedding dream pairing. Keep it neutral with a bridal party entirely in tan: tan suits for the men or other suit wearers and champagne or beige dresses for the women. This neutral palette allows you to be bold with your decor. Oranges in large glass jars for the bartop, orange ranunculus flowers, and vintage glass flower bud vases can all add a bit of bright spice to your big day. 

Peach & Gray 

Trendy, neutral, and rustic wedding color palette

Peach fuzz, the Pantone color of the year for 2024, will be a feature color in spring 2024 weddings, and for good reason. We love pairing peach with light gray and silver tones to make the pink color feel cool and contemporary. For a rustic theme or outdoor wedding, pale bridesmaids dresses with bright peach flowers and light gray suits is proving to be one of our favorite wedding party attire combinations for a trendy yet timeless aesthetic. To amp up the glam and incorporate another major 2024 trend–metallics–consider silver sequin dresses for a black tie or black tie optional affair with peach table linens and elaborate flower arrangements.
